music gallery news,Swami is the name of a band that was founded in 1989 and consists of Iwan Fals, Sawung Jabo, Naniel, Nanoe, Inisisri, Jockie Suryoprayogo, Totok Tewel, and is sponsored by businessman Setiawan Djodi.
Most of this group is actually a member of music group founded Circus Barock in Yogyakarta in the 70s and led by Jabo Sawung, they are Naniel, Nanoe, Inisisri and Toto Tewel.
Swami name itself comes from the language of India but here is a play on the word husband because of all the personnel of this band it has become a husband.
Some of the songs that are phenomenal community is Bento and Bongkar.
On the album name Iwan Fals is shown on the cover of the album as an attraction and sales of the album is very great. On the second album's name is not displayed anymore Iwan Fals just filled paintings of Setiawan Djody on cover. Sales of this second album is not so satisfactory.
