Amaranthe is a Swedish band Power / Melodic Death Metal formed in 2008 by Jake E. Olof Lundberg and Morck, the project began to take shape when joined at the same Elize Ryd and Andy Solvestrom also drummer Morten Lowe.
Amaranthe is a modern metal band inspired by bands like Soilwork, Meshuggah, Mnemic ... and use those elements in a more accessible, focusing on clean vocals. The power and escalation of those bands, progressive metal with clean vocals has always been different, good presence of keyboards, drum solos and more extensive.
Currently, they release April 13, 2011 self-titled debut album by the label Spinefarm Records. This paper can hear the mix of genres spread from one to another issue: whether melodic, death, power, industrial and metalcore that characterize this band and give it that hue than the other bands.
